GUIDELINES FOR EVENT LADIES

Submit INDIVIDUAL & PERSONALISED gifts per month to our Event files at Yahoo Groups

If submitting personal gifts per special page, send those to the page maker which are available at our Assignments page

Gifts no larger than 350 x 350 pixels. Will be resized or asked to be replaced if larger

Your name MUST be on the gift if you can use PSP

Sign EVERY special page guestbook.

Gifts must be sent to the pagemaker or be uploaded at egroups at least 2 days prior to the special date. If not, your gift may not make it to the page

If you cannot create gifts, you can ask the Graphics Committee to make these for you. Remember to get new ones each month. You can contact them via their website here

You can also submit pictures of flowers, bears, whatever

Just because you cannot make gifts, does not mean you cannot be a part of the Event ladies

GUIDELINES FOR PAGE MAKERS

Before you can become a pagemaker you must first show us some of your OWN sitebuilding work. We now have a high standard of pagebuilding for the Events Committee and it must be presented in a beautiful manner.

Each month LadyJeanette or LadyDebbii will assign you to make a special page for the following month. (ie: In April you will get your May Assignments)

Gifts MUST NOT be placed on the main page. Make new pages for gifts for easier loading time

Maximum of 8 gifts per page

A Poem or Adoption to be present on the main page (not mandatory)

Guestbook URL MUST be sent to LadyDebbii or LadyJeanette two (2) weeks prior to the special event.

Sometimes you will be asked to make a baby or wedding page

Sometimes you will be asked to make a special page at SHORT NOTICE. Please accept the page/s if they are up for grabs & if you know you have the time to do them. Don't always leave them for your leaders to do.

You will find all committee gifts at the Yahoo group files

If using MIDI's on the pages, please ensure there is a MUTE and OFF function available for the music. Not everyone has your tastes, or likes music playing on pages

Some committees (Entertaining and Welcoming) submit personal gifts per page, please use these when sent to you in preferance to those at the yahoo group files

GUIDELINES FOR GUESTBOOKS

Must accept HTML

Must have a PREVIEW function

If using SpiritBooks, click the accept HTML box

If using Lycos GuestGear, click the ACCEPT FULL HTML box

Turn off the "Send email notification" for signing guestbooks

YAHOO GROUP FILES

We store all of our upcoming gifts at YahooGroups under FILES.

Or you could go directly to FML Event ladies Yahoo Groups; sign in when prompted with your Yahoo ID

Go to FILES (on the left hand side of the page)

You will see a list of names of the event ladies - they are our individual folders. You need to create a folder with your name.

Click on your folder to take you to your storage and upload section

Click on ADD FILES to upload your gifts.

When naming each gift, please name them with the ladys name who the gift is for. (For example: You upload a gift for LadyShazzie, the gift image is saved as jeanette-bday.jpg, you name the gift Jeanette's Birthday. Or something to that effect). If you are still unsure, click on LadyJeanette's folder to see this more clearly.

Before you upload the gift, please check the "Send announcement to this group" box, that way that file and it's name will be sent to the events group
